Under the Gun
She's got her halo and wings
Hidden under his eyes
But she's an angel for sure
She just can't stop telling lies
But it's too late for his love
Already caught in a trap
His angel's kiss was a joke
And she is not coming back
Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Yeah she's got a criminal mind
He's got a reason to pray
His life is under the gun
He's got to hold every day
Now he just wants to wake up
Yeah, just to prove it's a dream
Cause she's an angel for sure
But that remains to be seen
Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Stupid on the streets of London
James Dean in the rain
Without her it's not the same
The same, the same, but it's alright
Because heaven sends and heaven takes
Crashing cars in his brain
Keep him tied up to a dream
And only she can set him free
And then he says to me
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Kill me now, kill me now, kill me now, kill me now
Again and again
Song by the Killers. I've just listened to their album tonigh, Hot Fuss, and it's very good. It's unfortunate though that on French radios they only play the radio edit of Mr Brightside, a brilliant song in its original version.
Anyway, this urge to buy albums still hasn't left me, but I haven't given in yet. Albums, how I love thee. Let me count the ways...
1) Foo Fighters - In your Honor. It's a disgrace that so-called radio stations here aren't even talking about this band, let alone playing their songs. This band is world renowed, except on French radios. Morons.
2) Billy Corgan's debut solo album - I'm craving for it !!! This guy is such a brilliant song writer !
3) Feeder - Pushing the Senses. Good band as well
4) Sunday Drivers
5) Pixies - Yes, I know, I'm slow, but they're good, and better late than never ! It's just that I've seemingly come out of a two year long phase during which I have not bought a single album, and I really want to watch up the time I wasted !
6) Alanis Morissette's acoustic rerun of Jagged little pill... Kidding !!! I've already got the first one, I'm not going to buy the exact same cd !!! And I've sort of grown out of Alanis... Sorry !
6) Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness. It's gt tobe one of their best album !
7) Gomez - Catch me up. I've already got 2 of their cd's, one bought in NZ, and I want this latest one, on which they've apparently changed style. But they're still so good ! I saw them at the Vieilles Charrues in 2000, and I've been a fan ever since!
8) The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi battles the Pink Robots, as well as the Soft Bulletin
Now for the bands I'd like to try out after having heard one of their songs :
1) Ben Folds - song : Zak and Sara
2) Broken Social Scene : Anthem for a seventeen year old girl
3) Better than Ezra : Sincerely, me
4) Death cab for cutie : Why you'd want to live here
5) Ben Lee : Nothing Much Happens
Kia Ora !
Ou Cheers !
Ou Kenavo !
Mais apprend donc à lire ! J'ai pas dit Caniveau !!! Blaireau va !
